Reseller web hosting company?

FAQ about unlimited reseller hosting:

Hi. I would like to start a web hosting company by joining a reseller program. I have two programs in mind, but I don’t know which one is better.

1. Www.resellerspanel.com: this program is free and you can sell all different kinds of plans which includes unlimited domain hosting, tons of disk space, free domain, auto responder, website builder, control panel, marketing tools, and much more. However, the hosting you sell does not come with cpanel. The company takes care of customer support, and servers and matinence. They take a wholesale cost which covers there work, and however much you mArkup is what you keep. So if the business plan has a wholesale of per year, if u mark it up to 0 a year, you keep 60$ a year from that client. The program also gives me a pre made site with different templates to promote the hosting. I also get a control panel to see everything. They have great marketing tools.

2. Www.hostgator.com: this is probably a more popular reseller program. You do sell hosting with c panel, but it costs 25-100 dollars each month, and doesn’t have as much space as resellerspanel. However, they don’t take a wholesale from you like reseller panel does. They don’t supply 24/7/365 support for your clients like resellerspanel does.

So, I am leaning towards resellerspanel since it costs less, but do you think no cpanel will make a huge difference? Which program should i use?

10 Reasons Why a Domain Name Can Be Your Best Unusual Gift

Who else wants some unusual gift ideas for the holidays? Our favorite gift idea, if the Someone You Love does not already have one, is a domain name. Here are some reasons why it is a good idea:
  1. It is easier to find a good domain name than an iPhone 5.
  2. It’s hypoallergenic.
  3. No instructions in foreign languages to fumble through.
  4. Look less desperate than the "lottery ticket" gift.
  5. Save a tree — you don’t have to wrap it!
  6. Give someone the secret identity they’ve always wanted.
  7. Less risky gift than a magazine subscription.
  8. It can be passed down from generation to generation like a great story.
  9. You won’t shoot your eye out with it!
  10. You can buy it at 11:59 p.m. before that special day and still have it in time.
Owning a domain only gives you the rights to the name, e.g., johnandmary.com. It is like a declaration that the name is yours. You can go to any of the web domain registration companies such as Godaddyor Namecheap to purchase a domain name.

Making the Most Out of the Domain Name

But in the event you basically choose to use the domain name for a web site, e-mail, etc., you might want to have the domain hosted. Owning 1 without hosting it can be referred to as “parking” the domain. Less than $10 a month gets you hosting for that domain.

We have been using Hostgator for more than 8 years and it has been the best one out of 30+ hosting companies that we have tried. So bottom line, $120 (or less) buys a hosted domain for a year. If your loved one is looking for a business to start, get him/her the reseller hosting package so you get him/her the head start. Use the coupon code SERVERHOSTING to get special 25% discount from Hostgator.

A domain is so “virtual” that you may want something solid to go along with it. Plus the apparent option could possibly be a set of beautiful business cards using the new domain particulars on them.VistaPrint will print 250 business cards in color for 20 dollars (or totally free for new customers, with a nominal $10 shipping-handling fee).

Best Places to Buy

You can find about 72 gazillion sites that let you register domain names, and yet another 53 gazillion that can host that name for you. And there is plenty of overlap. There are also plenty of sites that will help you find a hosting company; check out Hosting Comparison and Multiple Domain Hosting.

If you do not have the time to research for the best domain registration company or web hosting, then here is our recommendations:

Best Domain Registrar:

  • Netfirms for the cheapest .COM domain registration
  • Godaddy for cheap $1.99 .INFO domains

Best Domain Hosting:

  • Hostgator for most comprehensive DIY hosting including Sitebuilders with 4000+ unique templates, one-click-installer for lots of web applications, shopping cart, forum, and much more. Click here to try for a penny.
  • Weebly for simple website builder with beautiful templates. Nothing fancy but straightforward easy-to-use website creation tool. Click here to try for free.
